Road Trippin’ with the Bestfriends
Roadtrips are sometimes or most of the times stress relievers. Do you agree?
At the start of December 2011, my friends and I decided to have a road trip. Something we never did for six years of friendship. The original plan was Dahilayan somewhere near Cagayan where the movie of KC Concepcion, Sam Milby and other stars was shot. But then, nobody had been there from among the group. So, we changed plan. We then decided to travel in SoCSarGen [South Cotabato, Sarangani and General Santos] area.
The plan is to stay overnight at the Lake Sebu which, is in South Cotabato. We made choices on what to do while in Lake Sebu. Well, we had our lunch there and slurp! Their different recipes of tilapia are amazingly delicious! It’s there that I have tried chicharong tilapia. My favorite then!
While having lunch, we decided to try their zipline over the 2 of the 7 falls [actually not my first time]. Their zipline costs 350Php for two rides among which, is the 700m ride and a 400m ride with both overlooking falls #2 & #3.
Since we don’t want to spend the whole night doing nothing in Lake Sebu [no night life there actually], we drove back and stayed overnight at General Santos City where we met my friend’s friend. We went to Robinsons Place, dined there and had bonding at a coffee shop.
We then drove back to Davao City the next day.
See? Roadtrips are fun especially when you’re with friends.

hahahaha mahaba nga po. ito pa lang yata ang pinakamahaba na zipline na natry ko. pero pagnatry mo, gusto mong balik-balikan. sensya if magalaw kasi kamay ko lang ang support nung camera eh hehehehe…

Road trips are awesome especially with fun friends! After six years you guys were finally able to do it! Better late than never, as they always say. I love the effects on the intro, btw.

Very interesting roadtrip with your friends. The falls in Lake Sebu are so refreshing. The zipline is so challenging.
It’s been months since I had roadtrips. Trip ko mga ganito e. Nakakalimot sa mga problema, pansamantala.

i agree… i really missed the tilapia dish of lake sebu… lalo na ung pinaputok na tilapia… yummy… lol. haven’t tried their zip line though. Yahweh bless.

Road trip with closest friends is the best. Been doing this when I was still in Pinas and I miss doing all those adventures with my cousins.
That’s a nice road trip. I heard so much about Socsargen and especially lake Cebu. Nice view with great friends, a perfect combination for a getaway.
