I Planted Trees; I Contributed to Save My City
Every year, Davao Light plant thousands of trees to adopted areas. Different areas every year.
Last August 13,2011, the Davao Light Kaibigans traveled to Upper Kibalang Marilog Dist., Davao City to plant 5,000 trees of different species with the locals there. We planted rubber trees and fruits trees — cacao, durian and etc. I planted cacao and durian. It’s a joint activity with the locals there by the way that is why it’s called the co-planting activity. 
That was the best tree planting I’ve participated so far. We met a lot of locals who helped us while some cooked banana for us to eat after planting trees.
Let me share a few shots for you to see how fun it was aside from helping the city from floods and helping the locals too.
